Thanks for visiting our website. Our herd name came from the hill we reside on,  Addisonian  Hill, which is just outside of Ashland, a small north central Ohio town.

We started with dairy goats in 1984, purchasing two grade Toggenburgs. In 1985, we purchased a French alpine doe, and we have continued with them since.

We are life members of ADGA. We became a Gold Star member of ADGA in 2018. In 2019, we received a certificate of recognition from the state of Ohio for our 35th anniversary of breeding dairy goats.

SGCH  Lotus was awarded Elite doe status for her milk production in 2020 and 2021.

We only attended one show in 2023 and 2024. Clementine received a CH leg and Sydra was RCH both years.    So it is very hard to finish does without being able to get them in the show ring.   It does not affect the quality of the stock we can offer.

Shows are very hard for us to attend now, that we are older and have some health issues.  We do try to attend one or two a year yet. In years past we did get to quite a few shows.

The herd is no longer on DHI testing. They have been appraised in the past but do not find it necessary now.

We strive to keep our herd healthy and do not bring in new goats, except for a buck as needed.

Our herd is CAE negative, CL free, and very healthy. We vaccinate with CD&T and BO-SE. We use chemical wormer as needed, along with an herbal wormer. They are offered sodium bicarb and goat minerals free choice. We feed 17% commercial goat feed and high-quality alfalfa/ alfalfa mixed hay. Our herd always has access to pasture.

We do sell several milking does a year, after they are fresh and we can evaluate them. So contact us for what we may have available. Mature bucks are sometimes offered for sale also.

Our thanks to all who purchased stock from us in 2025.

Thanks for looking at our herd!
